“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you.” ― A.A. Milne
With things going terrible down south, I've decided to take a stand up north. Being open minded and tolerant will always be important, no matter what century you're in. Or country, for that matter. It is one of the greatest strengths a human can have. While I understand there are many issues at hand, compassion and tolerance are values that I will not and cannot compromise on. And now that's off my chest, on to the music that's pulled me through January. I have to give a shout out to LANY because they've been on repeat almost every day. On the other hand, the La La Land soundtrack has sent chills up and down my spine. Especially the all-encompassing epilogue theme where trumpets seem to jump in joy and flutes dance in circles and strings glide across my ears. I love the simpleness of the melodies and the harmony between the instruments. Absolutely wonderful.
